Positive dog training is the right choice for your dog. Positive dog training has much better results than negative dog training because a dog can only learn what it understands. Dogs do not understand what it means if they are yelled at. They only feel threatened and become afraid of whoever yelled at them. This is no way to learn!

Dogs are much more likely to learn a new positive behavior by being positively reinforced than by being yelled at! This is how a dog learns to associate good behavior, a positive behavior, with a positive reward!

Now this does not mean that you should just be feeding your dogs treats all the time. This is not the way to a well trained dog just a fat one.
