April is Animal Cruelty Awareness Month (Adirondack Daily Enterprise)
If we were more empathetic, perhaps we would feel what animals are feeling when facing cruelty from insensitive human beings. It is hard to conceive why anyone could inflict suffering on innocent animals that fall victim to people abusing them.
